Who We Are

Vision Statement
Our vision is for a Great Park that will become one of America’s finest metropolitan parks — a park that will be a regional asset and a source of pride for generations.

Mission Statement
The role of the Great Park Conservancy in creating the Orange County Great Park is to operate as an all-inclusive, public benefit corporation engaged in activities to support the planning, development, financing and operation of the park. In doing so, we will involve residents from all over Orange County to ensure a regional focus for the Great Park. And we will support the vision of the Great Park as a wonderful public amenity that will offer something for everyone, no matter what his or her age, economic circumstance, or place of residence.

Friends of the Great Park

The Conservancy formed Friends of the Great Park to spread the word about the Great Park to all of Orange County. Friends of the Great Park includes over 12,000 residents, elected officials, business leaders, and community leaders.

Advisory Council

The Conservancy created a distinguished Advisory Council of over 70 influential community leaders who lend their names in support of the Great Park. The Advisory Council includes representation from north, central and south Orange County cities, as well as community leaders countywide.
