The importance of contacting your elected officials cannot be overstated. Elected officials are politicians who are acutely attuned to the wishes of the electorate. They have two ways to determine what voters think, through polling and from direct contact with the voters.

The latest polling, as reported in the LA Times, shows Orange County evenly split on the need for an airport at El Toro. Now is the time to show politicians that the voice of the people opposes the airport. Do not be afraid to repeat your message over and over. What is critical is the contact and how many times you let your voice be heard. Please take some time to call or write:
